At Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Apex Conquest on April 12, Yoshiki Inamura closed the show by retaining the GHC Heavyweight Championship against Alpha Wolf, successfully defending his title in the main event. Inamura also addressed recent remarks from KENTA about bringing in outside talent, setting the stage for new challengers.

WWE Announces AAA TripleMania 34 as Two-Night Event; Night Two Set for Mexico City
At Backlash 2026, WWE revealed that AAA TripleMania 34 will be a two-night event on Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, with night two confirmed for Mexico City and the location of night one still to be announced. The announcement came after the tag match featuring Danhausen and Mascarita Dorada vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson, and no matches have been announced for the show yet — marking the first time TripleMania will span two nights.
TripleMania 34 will be the second consecutive TripleMania held under WWE’s partnership and acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA, first announced at WrestleMania 41 last year; last year’s event was headlined by El Hijo del Vikingo defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano. AAA airs Saturdays at 10 PM ET on Fox Latin America and the WWE YouTube channel.

Trick Williams Teases Potential Rematch With Carmelo Hayes After Backlash Chants
At the WWE Backlash post-show, fans chanted for Carmelo Hayes while Trick Williams and Lil Yachty sat with the panel following Williams’ win over Sami Zayn. Williams responded to the crowd, asking, “Y’all wanna see Trick versus Melo?” and adding, “The people have spoken… Let’s see what happens,” while Yachty chimed in, “Melo can get it too.”
Williams and Hayes share a long history dating back to NXT, where Williams was first introduced as Hayes’ associate before a bitter turn and feud that elevated both men. The two have already crossed paths on the main roster — Hayes defeated Williams in a February Elimination Chamber qualifying match — and Hayes has been off television since dropping a United States title rematch to Sami Zayn on SmackDown prior to WrestleMania 42.
