Sol Ruca Reportedly Headed to WWE Raw; Contract Signing Set for Next Week
WWE announced on Monday that NXT standout Sol Ruca will officially join the Raw roster with a contract signing scheduled for next week’s Raw in Omaha, Nebraska. Ruca made her main roster debut on the post-WrestleMania Raw, nearly toppling Liv Morgan before former tag partner Zaria interfered; the rivalry spilled back onto NXT recently in a Last Woman Standing match where Zaria scored a brutal win after shoving Ruca through tables, with Ruca reportedly okay following the fall.
The closing segment of this week’s Raw also ramped up the World Championship picture when Jacob Fatu ambushed Roman Reigns, leaving him laid out with the Tongan death grip and demanding a title shot. Reigns vowed to see Fatu at Backlash on May 9, while Fatu ominously promised he’d see Reigns next week, setting up more fallout heading into the pay-per-view and next week’s Raw in Omaha.
