Stephanie Vaquer Sidelined with AC Sprain; Talla Tonga Out with Undisclosed Injury
Stephanie Vaquer was taken out backstage on Monday’s WWE Raw after an attack by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, during which Perez drove an equipment box into Vaquer’s shoulder; Michael Cole later reported Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC sprain and “would be out for a bit.” Bryan Alvarez has confirmed the injury is legitimate, though it’s unclear when the sprain originally occurred; Vaquer last competed at WrestleMania 42 in a loss to Liv Morgan.
Talla Tonga has been absent since the April 17 SmackDown Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and his omission from last Friday’s show prompted release rumors amid recent roster cuts. Alvarez reports Tonga is sidelined with an undisclosed injury but is expected to return fairly soon.
