Thekla Re-Signs with AEW, Explains Why She Chose the Promotion Over Others
AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla has inked a new contract with All Elite Wrestling, and she addressed her decision during the AEW Dynasty post-show media scrum. Thekla confirmed the extension while thanking fans and noting that the timing felt right to commit her future to the promotion.
Speaking to reporters, Thekla said she chose AEW over other offers because of the opportunities the company provides for her creatively and professionally, including meaningful television exposure and room to grow within the women’s division. She also pointed to the supportive locker room and passionate fanbase as key reasons she sees AEW as the best home for her long-term wrestling plans.
