Tiffany Stratton vs. Jordynne Grace Set for WWE SmackDown No. 1 Contender Match
Tiffany Stratton and Jordynne Grace will square off tonight on WWE SmackDown in a number one contender’s match to determine the next challenger for WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia. Announced Friday, the bout is the final stop before WrestleMania 42 and marks the first-ever meeting between Stratton and Grace; the date for the title match was not announced but is expected to be booked for next week’s SmackDown.
Stratton recently lost a non-title match to Giulia in late March and is a former WWE Women’s Champion, while Grace arrives on the back of wins over Candice LeRae (February SmackDown) and Zelina (this month’s Main Event) as she chases her first WWE title. Tonight’s SmackDown also features the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, The Wyatt Sicks vs. MFTs in a street fight, Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Lyra Valkyria & Bayley, plus appearances by Jacob Fatu and Cody Rhodes.
