Triple H Details Origin of “The Game” Nickname, Credits Jim Ross
WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently offered more detail on how his “The Game” nickname developed, explaining it evolved alongside his in-ring persona as he embraced a more cerebral, dominant role. He highlighted moments and creative decisions that helped cement the moniker in WWE storytelling.
Levesque also emphasized the importance of veteran announcer Jim Ross in shaping and selling that character, crediting Ross with lending credibility and helping audiences buy into the persona. He framed Ross’s contributions as instrumental to the reception and longevity of “The Game” on WWE programming.
