WWE Files Trademark for “Nox Raijin” Amid NXT Talent Influx
WWE submitted a trademark application on April 28 for the name “Nox Raijin,” listing the mark under entertainment services for wrestling exhibitions and performances, along with related online and fan-club services. There is no confirmation yet on which performer the name might be assigned to or when the character could debut.
The April 28 edition of NXT continued the brand’s reshuffle following post-WrestleMania call-ups, with Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom and GM Robert Stone discussing the next wave of talent. The night featured several debuts from Evolve and LFG signees: EVIL interrupted NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, Lizzy Rain had her first WWE match against Nikkita Lyons, Tristan Angels introduced himself as “Mr. England” and called out Myles Borne, and Tate Wilder made his first appearance aiding EK Prosper and Sean Legacy after a BirthRight ambush.
