WWE Releases Opening Video for WrestleMania 42 Night One Narrated by Lin-Manuel Miranda
WWE has unveiled the opening cold open for Night One of WrestleMania 42, voiced by Hamilton creator and noted wrestling fan Lin-Manuel Miranda. The cinematic piece leans into WrestleMania’s lore — “no second takes” and unforgettable moments — and nods to past and present stars while setting the stage for this weekend’s marquee matches; Miranda previously appeared in a WWE promo earlier this year and is a multi-time Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner.
WrestleMania 42 takes over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this Saturday and Sunday, streaming live on the ESPN app in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally with each night starting at 6 p.m. ET. Night One features Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton and Seth Rollins vs. Gunther among other high-profile bouts, while Night Two includes CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi on the card.
