WWE SmackDown Ratings Dip Amid NFL Draft, NBA and NHL Playoffs
Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown averaged 1.267 million viewers on USA, a 19.8% decline from the prior week’s 1.58 million and the lowest audience since March 6. The show posted a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 23.8% from 0.42 and tying its lowest demo rating since March 6, as it went head-to-head with NFL Draft coverage on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network and faced additional competition from NBA and NHL playoff broadcasts.
Compared to the same week in 2025, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 20.8% and the 18-49 rating fell 37.3%. Against the recent 10-week averages (1.339 million viewers and a 0.33 demo), this episode was down 5.4% in total viewers and 3% in the key demo.
