AAA Cancels Marcel Barthel’s El Grande Americano Appearance Ahead of Noches de Los Grandes
Lucha Libre AAA has announced that Marcel Barthel’s scheduled appearance as El Grande Americano has been canceled as the promotion heads into Noches de Los Grandes on May 30. The show’s marquee match is still advertised as a Mask vs. Mask main event pitting El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) against the Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable).
AAA has not released further details about Barthel’s withdrawal or whether a replacement will be named. Fans and media will be monitoring updates as the card is finalized in the weeks leading up to the event.
