AAA Reportedly Eyeing Verano de Escándalo PLE for July 25

TKO and AAA are reportedly considering holding Verano de Escándalo on Saturday, July 25, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, though plans remain “more fluid” after Triplemania was announced as a two-night event. AAA recently ran Noche de los Grandes at Arena Monterrey and has a taping set for June 20 at the Foro GNP Seguros in Mérida, Yucatán, with Triplemania 34 scheduled for September 11 and 13.

Highlights from AAA’s Noche de los Grandes cards include a Mask vs. Mask meeting between El Grande Americano and “The Original” El Grande Americano, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defending the AAA Latin American Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo, Laredo Kid defending the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Fenix, and Pagano & Psycho Clown putting the AAA World Tag Team titles on the line against War Raiders; the June 6 card features Bayley, Lola Vice & La Catalina vs. Las Toxicas (Flammer, Maravilla & La Hiedra).
