AEW Collision Sees Viewership Dip Amid WWE Backlash and Playoff Competition
AEW Collision experienced a decline in viewership after going head-to-head with WWE Backlash, losing ground as fans split between the two major wrestling events. The Saturday broadcast struggled to maintain momentum against WWE’s counterprogramming.
Compounding the issue, NBA and NHL playoff games drew significant audiences, further siphoning viewers from Collision and contributing to a noticeable ratings drop. AEW will likely reassess scheduling and promotional strategies as it contends with heavy sports and wrestling competition.
