AEW Dynamite in Asheville Tracking Well Below Prior Attendance
AEW Dynamite runs tonight from Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina, but ticket distribution is tracking well below previous shows. WrestleTix reports 2,049 tickets distributed so far — more than 1,300 fewer than the 3,402 tickets for the Jan. 1, 2025 New Year’s Dynamite (a Fight for the Fallen charity event) and well under AEW’s year-to-date average of roughly 3,312.
Tonight’s card still features major attractions, led by AEW World Champion Darby Allin defending against Konosuke Takeshita, a ten-man tag with Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Orange Cassidy and the Young Bucks vs. Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay and Clark Connors, and Will Ospreay vs. Ace Austin. Additional announced elements include MJF addressing his Hair vs. Title challenge for Double or Nothing, a Kevin Knight TNT Title open challenge, Triangle of Madness vs. the Brawling Birds with Hikaru Shida, and the Owen Hart Tournament brackets; Dynamite airs live at 8/7c on TBS and HBO Max.
