AEW Dynamite Ratings Dip to 596,000 Amid NBA, NHL Playoffs
Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 596,000 viewers on TBS, a 3.4% decline from the previous week and the show’s lowest audience since January 21. The program posted a 0.08 rating in the key 18-49 demo, down 20% week-over-week and tied for the lowest demo rating since New Year’s Eve.
Dynamite finished tied for ninth on primetime cable as it went head-to-head with the NBA playoffs on ESPN and the NHL playoffs on TNT, which claimed the top two spots while a second NHL game on ESPN2 finished third. Year-over-year, the broadcast was down 5.3% in total viewers and 50% in the 18-49 demo, and it trailed its recent 10-week averages by 12.4% in overall viewers and 33.3% in the demo.
