AJ Lee, Paige and The Bella Twins Listed as WWE Free Agents
AJ Lee, Paige and twin stars Nikki and Brie Bella have been moved to the Free Agents section of the WWE roster page, joining Danhausen, Oba Femi and Omos in the new listing. AJ returned to WWE in September 2025, captured the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber and later lost the title back to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania before announcing a short hiatus from the company.
Nikki Bella’s comeback began last year while Brie signed a new deal with WWE this year; Nikki’s foot injury kept her out of the fatal four-way Women’s Tag title match at WrestleMania and prompted Paige to step in as her replacement. Paige’s return marked her first WWE match since a 2017 neck injury—she had previously returned to in-ring action at AEW Full Gear 2023 after being medically cleared—and she is now listed among WWE’s free agents.
