AJ Styles Visits Florida Wrestling School and Natalya’s Dungeon

AJ Styles spent the week passing on his experience to the next generation, visiting Fight the World Wrestling Academy in Florida—run by NWA talents Bryan Idol, Natalia Markova and Mike Mondo—and later joining Natalya and TJ Wilson’s invite-only Dungeon training session on Wednesday, which doubled as Natalya’s 44th birthday. FTW thanked “The Phenomenal One” for a great class, while Natalya praised Styles for getting in the ring, wrestling, pushing trainees and sharing his knowledge.

The sessions at The Dungeon attract both up-and-coming talent and TV names—WWE’s Ilja Dragunov was among those in attendance—and underscored Styles’ evolving behind-the-scenes role with WWE following his January in-ring retirement and April Hall of Fame induction. Styles has been active in recruitment and the WWE ID development program, and his indie experience has made that a natural fit; John Cena also spent time working with talent at the WWE Performance Center on Wednesday.
