Athena on ROH Women’s World Title Run and Her Goals After Surpassing Roman Reigns’ WWE Reign
AEW star Athena reflected on her ROH Women’s World Championship reign as a career-defining chapter, crediting hard work, the support of AEW and ROH, and the fans for helping elevate her to the top. She said the title run has been about more than personal accomplishment — it’s been a platform to showcase the depth of the women’s division and to set a new standard for consistency and passion in the ring.
Looking ahead to the hypothetical moment she surpasses Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Title reign, Athena explained she intends to use that milestone to further legitimize the ROH Women’s title and to continue defending it with intensity. Her focus remains on leaving a lasting legacy by being a fighting champion who pushes the division forward every night in front of the fans.
