Baron Corbin Reportedly Returning to WWE After MLW Run
A new report indicates Tom Pestock—known to WWE fans as Baron Corbin and currently wrestling as Bishop Dyer—is expected to rejoin WWE. Fightful Select, following an earlier Wrestling Observer scoop, reports Pestock is finishing up commitments in MLW where he teamed with Donovan Dijak as the Skyscrapers, and industry sources believe he is either already signed to WWE or will be imminently.
Pestock last worked for WWE in October 2024 when his contract was not renewed and has spent the interim rebuilding on the independent scene, including a 329-day MLW World Tag Team Championship reign with Dijak and a one-off AEW appearance in 2026. The 41-year-old former football player spent 2012–2024 in WWE and is a former U.S. Champion, NXT Tag Team Champion (with Bron Breakker), 2019 King of the Ring and 2017 Money in the Bank winner.
