Lesnar jumped Femi before the bell and delivered four F5s early before closing the match, then shouted at Femi afterward that they were now 1-1; the win moves Lesnar to 5-5 in his last ten WWE singles matches dating back to SummerSlam 2022.

For 28-year-old Oba Femi, the loss is his first singles defeat since Ricky Saints beat him for the NXT Championship at No Mercy on September 27, 2025. Reports indicate Lesnar — who appeared to retire at WrestleMania 42 — is expected to remain with WWE through the summer but is not slated for the July 18 Saturday Night’s Main Event, and most in the company still expect his retirement to take place at SummerSlam in Minnesota, per Dave Meltzer.
