Bully Ray: Nikki Cross Would Have Been Perfect Main Roster Opponent for Blake Monroe
Veteran commentator Bully Ray says a recently released WWE star would have been an ideal fit for a main roster program with Blake Monroe. Ray believes the unorthodox style and character work of the ex-WWE talent—widely identified as Nikki Cross—would have provided a compelling foil to Monroe and helped fast-track meaningful storytelling on television.
Ray’s remarks underline what many see as a missed creative opportunity for WWE, where pairing an established, unpredictable performer with an emerging name could create instant intrigue. With Cross no longer on the roster, fans and insiders will be watching both her next move and how WWE chooses to position Monroe going forward.
