Charlie (Dakota Kai) Admits She May Need a Last Name to Complete Her Ring Name
Former WWE star Dakota Kai, who was released in May 2025, returned to the ring in March 2026 under the moniker Charlie and has competed in two matches since her comeback. The shift to a single-name identity has been notable as she rebuilds her career outside WWE.
In a recent interview with D.S. Shin of Ring The Belle, Charlie acknowledged that adding a last name might help round out her new persona and discussed the people she’s encountered since returning to the wrestling scene. The candid conversation highlighted her plans to refine the Charlie character as she continues to work dates and reconnect with fans.
