Chelsea Green Set to Return to WWE After SVT Procedure
Chelsea Green announced she’s expected back at work soon after undergoing a minimally invasive procedure to correct supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). Green revealed doctors finally diagnosed the arrhythmia after a prolonged episode around WrestleMania 42 that pushed her resting heart rate to 228 beats per minute for nearly 15 minutes; Dr. Girgis spent three hours treating her, with Green awake for the final hour of the procedure.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion has been out of action since February with an ankle injury, and she and husband Matt Cardona are currently on the WWE SmackDown roster. Green’s update indicates the SVT has been addressed and she anticipates returning to WWE programming very soon.
