Chelsea Green Undergoes Heart Procedure After Years of Symptoms

Chelsea Green revealed on Instagram that she recently had a procedure to treat supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), posting a hospital photo with husband Matt Cardona and writing, “After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done! Three hours later and I’m on the mend.” SVT is a fast or erratic heartbeat affecting the heart’s upper chambers; while Green did not specify the exact treatment, the timeline and description are consistent with an ablation procedure, which uses energy to create tiny scars that block faulty electrical signals and typically takes three to six hours.

On-screen activity has been limited for Green following an ankle injury and a February SmackDown Elimination Chamber qualifier loss to Tiffany Stratton that also featured Lash Legend.
