Danhausen’s mystery Backlash partner was a mini clone
At WWE Backlash, Danhausen revealed a surprise tag partner: a pint-sized clone produced by SmackDown’s cloning machine. The mini Danhausen delivered fast-paced lucha-style offense, then re-entered the device as additional minis emerged to overwhelm The Miz and Kit Wilson; Miz’s attempt to deploy a fire extinguisher backfired, a mini wiped out Wilson with a dive, and Danhausen landed a kick on Miz for the victory.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer reports the primary mini partner was AAA’s Mascarita Dorada and that Danhausen face-painting booths will appear at future WWE events. The spot capped a feud that began when The Miz feigned mentorship and, after SmackDown GM Nick Aldis required Danhausen to bring a partner, suggested he “clone” himself — a suggestion Danhausen took literally.
