Danhausen’s Potential Backlash Partner: Jelly Roll Emerges as a Lead Speculation
An update has surfaced on who might be Danhausen’s mystery partner at WWE Backlash in Tampa, with speculation mounting that country-rap star Jelly Roll could join the masked wrestler for Saturday’s PLE against Kit Wilson and The Miz. Bryan Alvarez told subscribers on X that while he couldn’t confirm the pairing, he’s hearing that Jelly Roll is the frontrunner — a development that would make more sense than an unadvertised CM Punk appearance.
Jelly Roll was previously linked to a planned tag with Cody Rhodes against Randy Orton and Pat McAfee before Orton was removed from TV following an apparent injury at WrestleMania. Betting markets currently list CM Punk as the favorite at -200, with Joe Hendry +200, Mr. Iguana +300 and Jelly Roll +400 as the underdogs.
