Darby Allin Sets Wedding Date for June 27, One Day Before Forbidden Door
Reigning AEW World Champion Darby Allin revealed he will marry his fiancée Saturday, June 27, in Seattle — notably the day before AEW’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 28 in San Jose. Speaking on Q104.3’s Jim Kerr Rock & Roll Morning Show, Allin joked, “So, no honeymoon here,” and recounted proposing atop Mount Everest in May 2025 after reconnecting with his future wife, whom he first met on a school bus and later reconnected with via Instagram; the couple even went bungee jumping on one of their first dates.
Allin also shared that his fiancée survived a stray bullet that struck her in the head years ago and was medevaced to a trauma center before later becoming an ICU nurse, and said they plan to have children. Allin — who has enjoyed a strong 2026 — will put the AEW World Championship on the line against MJF in a title-vs.-hair match at AEW Double or Nothing.
