El Hijo del Vikingo Appears to Suffer Shoulder Injury During AAA on Fox Opening Match
On the May 2, 2026 episode of AAA on Fox, El Hijo del Vikingo faced Mini Vikingo in the opening contest, a high-flying encounter that saw interference from El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., who helped Mini Vikingo secure the win. Near the finish, Vikingo delivered a top-rope Uranagi, then was seen clutching his shoulder and being examined by medical personnel, leading to concerns of an apparent shoulder injury that has not been officially confirmed.
After the match, Omos entered the ring and took out both Wagner Jr. and Mini Vikingo while officials attended to Vikingo, who is still booked to challenge El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 at Arena Monterrey; the updated card also lists El Grande Americano vs. “The Original” El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask bout.
