Jacob Fatu Names ECW Icon New Jack as Childhood Dream Opponent
WWE Superstar Jacob Fatu recently revealed that ECW legend New Jack was once a childhood dream match of his. Fatu pointed to New Jack’s infamous hardcore style and larger‑than‑life persona as a major influence on his early love of wrestling.
Though a matchup with New Jack is no longer possible, Fatu says that dream helped shape his in‑ring approach and the intensity he brings to his current work. The admission highlights the lasting impact ECW had on a generation of performers and the ways those legacies continue to inspire modern wrestlers.
