Jim Ross Says Mick Foley Unlikely to Wrestle in AEW
AEW announcer and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross expressed skepticism that Mick Foley will step back into the ring during his AEW run, saying it’s unlikely Foley will wrestle a match given his current role and physical condition. Ross stressed that while Foley’s presence is valuable, an in-ring return would be unexpected.
Foley is expected to contribute through appearances, promos and backstage roles rather than active competition, with Ross emphasizing respect for Foley’s legacy and long-term health. Fans can still look forward to his influence on storylines and moments without necessarily seeing him wrestle again.
