Kit Wilson Reveals He Pitched a 007-Style Character During SmackDown Singles Run
After an injury to his Pretty Deadly partner Elton Prince, Kit Wilson transitioned into a singles role on WWE SmackDown and quickly carved out a new identity by leaning into a “toxic” masculinity gimmick, calling out opponents as toxic to establish himself on the roster. The change allowed Wilson to evolve beyond tag duties and gain television heat while showcasing his mic work and character flexibility.
Wilson has revealed he wasn’t limited to the toxic persona, telling Fightful he also pitched alternate concepts — including a James Bond/007-esque character — as ideas for his singles direction. The admission highlights Wilson’s creative ambitions and the variety of directions WWE could explore with his character moving forward.
