Kyle Fletcher Says He “Didn’t Even Feel Like a Pro Wrestler” During Recovery After AEW Return
Kyle Fletcher addressed his emotional AEW return at Double or Nothing after suffering a torn meniscus and a fracture to his ankle and the top of his tibia during a Collision match in March. Fletcher revealed in his Protolog vlog that the injuries kept him out roughly eight weeks, did not require surgery, and that he returned last weekend to attack newly crowned International Champion Konosuke Takeshita.
In the vlog Fletcher described feeling like “a dude that just stayed at home on his couch” while rehabbing and said the actual moment back in the ring flashed by in the blink of an eye, leaving him speechless at the overwhelming rush of emotion. He called the comeback “pretty cool” and reflected on how surreal it felt to rebuild toward that moment in such a short span of time.
