Kyle Fletcher Says He’s “100% Cleared” to Return After Double or Nothing Surprise

Kyle Fletcher announced he is “100% cleared” to return to the ring after making a surprise appearance at AEW Double or Nothing and addressing his status on the combined Dynamite/Collision broadcast. Fletcher, who tore his meniscus and fractured both his ankle and tibia on the March 28 Collision, boasted about his rapid recovery and called out International Champion Konosuke Takeshita — who answered the challenge flanked by The Conglomeration — while Fletcher was backed by the Don Callis Family; earlier he also eyed TNT Champion Kevin Knight as Callis attempted a recruitment pitch.

The 27-year-old revealed in a Tuesday vlog that he avoided surgery and instead rested for a couple of weeks before beginning physical therapy, gym work and cardio, and was technically cleared on May 15 after initially being told there was a 90% chance he’d need an operation. A firm timetable for Fletcher’s in-ring return has not been announced.
