Leon Slater to defend X-Division title against Cedric Alexander in Sacramento
Leon Slater will put the TNA X-Division Championship on the line against Cedric Alexander in a two-out-of-three falls match on the live May 14, 2026 episode of TNA Impact from the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium. The matchup was set during a segment on the April 30 episode and will mark the pair’s third X-Division title clash, with Slater having won their previous two encounters.
The win on May 14 would also put Slater within reach of a record-breaking reign, as he is set to become the longest-reigning TNA X-Division Champion on May 15 if he retains. The Sacramento card also features a No. 1 Contender Battle Royal for the TNA World Championship and A.J. Francis vs. K.C. Navarro in a Sactown Street Fight, while Mustafa Ali is slated to defend the TNA International Title on May 15.
