Matt Cardona Keeps MAJOR Toy Business Thriving Despite WWE Return
Despite making his official WWE return on the January 2, 2026 episode of SmackDown, Matt Cardona says he hasn’t abandoned the MAJOR toy company he built on the independent scene. Speaking on the Have More Money Now podcast with John Layfield, Cardona explained MAJOR can sign figures for anyone not tied to a WWE nostalgia deal—approaching wrestlers or estates with simple, written “handshake” agreements that are non-exclusive and designed to let talent maximize earnings across multiple companies.
Cardona added that several all-time names who aren’t under WWE deals—Ric Flair, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, André the Giant and ECW stars like Sabu—are among those he can produce as collectibles, and revealed the venture is now generating millions annually, to the point it could be his primary occupation.
