Mick Foley Praises AEW After Double or Nothing Debut
Hardcore legend Mick Foley made his All Elite Wrestling debut at Double or Nothing, co-hosting Zero Hour with Renee Paquette and offering commentary ahead of the AEW World Championship main event. Foley took to Instagram afterward to thank the promotion — writing he was “so genuinely happy to be part of @AEW, and to have contributed in a small way to such an amazing night of wrestling” — after MJF interrupted his remarks and struck him with a low blow before Darby Allin rushed out to make the save.
In the post-show media scrum AEW President Tony Khan outlined the vision for Foley and Paquette’s roles moving forward, and Foley’s public appreciation underscored a positive start to his AEW involvement. The night combined on-screen heat and backstage optimism, signaling a potentially recurring presence for Foley in the promotion.
