The bell rings and the fans rally up. Jakob offers a handshake? Jakob shows he means it by shaking the ref’s hand, and shaking Zane Jay’s hand. Hyo says that’s still suspicious, but checks with the fans. Jakob says it’s okay, clean fight! He means it! Hyo accepts the handshake, the fans applaud, but then Hyo blocks Jakob’s kick! Jakob apologizes but Hyo kicks him low! The fans cheer, and Hyo says how dare you! Hyo whips, but Jakob reverses to CLAW the eyes! The fans boo but Jakob says shut up. Jakob headlocks, grinds the hold, but Hyo powers up and out. Jakob RUNS Hyo over, keeps moving, but Hyo drops then hurdles, only for Jakob to TOSS him out!

Jakob celebrates with the ref, but that’s just so Zane can scoop Hyo! But Hyo slips free and POSTS Zane! The fans cheer as Hyo handles Zane then goes to the apron. Hyo RAMS Jakob, then slingshots to CUTTER! The fans cheer while Jakob goes to a corner. Hyo runs corner to corner, then ELBOWS Jakob! The fans cheer and Hyo whips Jakob to the corner. Jakob reverses, but Hyo goes up and over to handspring! The leg still bothers him from last round, but he dodges Jakob to then drop down and get the zoomies! Hyo DROPKICKS Jakob’s leg out and the fans fire up! Hyo says let’s go, and he goes up top!

No, Kanemaru just settles for the classic attack during introductions! Kanemaru CLUBS Yoh off the corner, stomps him around, and the bell rings to get this on record. Kanemaru YANKS Yoh’s arm, whips him, but Yoh ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up as Kanemaru bails out, and Yoh builds speed, only for Kanemaru to run away. The fans boo but Yoh just waits on Kanemaru. Kanemaru slides in, Yoh kicks and CLUBS him, then wrenches and whips. Kanemaru reverses to arm-drag SLAM Yoh down! Kanemaru stomps the bad arm, then he drags Yoh back up to hammerlock, scoop, and SLAM! Yoh writhes as he clutches the arm.

The Sniper of the Skies promised to win his seventh ever BOSJ, and so far, he’s still in the running. Charisma Itself is having his first, and he’s not doing too bad, either. But will Eagles still be flying high after tonight? Or will Daisuke make sure even The Mighty is #NeverSober?

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Eagles encourages it and the fans rally louder and faster. Then the two circle, tie up, and Daisuke waistlocks. Eagles wrenches free, hammerlocks, then headlocks. Daisuke pulls hair, then drop toeholds, just so he can pull hair again. Daisuke then goes for an arm, wrenches and wristlocks it, and he keeps Eagles from the ropes. Eagles pulls Daisuke’s hair, then rolls and wrenches in return. Daisuke rolls, trips Eagles, then floats to a headlock. Eagles headscissors, Daisuke kips free, and the fans applaud the standoff. The two reset, circle, and feel things out. They knuckle lock, but then Daisuke rolls to wrangle Eagles.

Daisuke has a top wristlock, but Eagles pulls hair. Daisuke pulls hair, too, and the ref reprimands them both. Eagles rolls, wrenches, and hammerlocks, but Daisuke reaches back to pull hair. The ref reprimands but they go to ropes, and Daisuke DUMPS Eagles out hard! Eagles falls to apron then floor, and Daisuke again gets fans rallying for Murata-san. Murata still doesn’t understand this obsession, but then Daisuke takes his chair! The ref reprimands but Daisuke shove shim aside to JAM up Eagles! The fans boo but Daisuke puts the chair around Eagles. Daisuke says this is for Murata! FULL METAL TWIST OF FATE!

The fans are torn but the ref reprimands. Daisuke returns the chair and the fans cheer. Murata says don’t applaud that! Daisuke leaves Eagles behind to the ring count, and Eagles rises at 6 of 20. Eagles rolls in at 9, and the fans applaud again, but then Daisuke FALLING AX HANDLES! And AX HANDLES again! Daisuke kicks and stomps Eagles to the ropes, then digs his knee in. The ref counts, but Daisuke KNEE DROPS! Eagles writhes, but then he CHOPS! And CHOPS! Daisuke ELBOWS Eagles on the neck! Daisuke whips Eagles but Eagles blocks by holding ropes. Eagles blocks again, but Daisuke KNEES low!

Daisuke whips, Eagles reverses and tornado arm-drags! But Daisuke wrangles Eagles to a CROSSFACE! Eagles scrambles around to the ROPEBREAK! The fans applaud while Daisuke lets Eagles go. Daisuke kicks at Eagles, eggs him on, then mocks the “Robbie Robbie Robbie” cheer. Daisuke turns Eagles by wrenching the hair, then he whips Eagles into a corner. Daisuke runs up, Eagles throws him back, then Eagles RANAS! The fans cheer while Daisuke tumbles, and Eagles WHEEL KICKS! Both men are down and the fans rally up. Eagles kips up and the fans fire up! Daisuke slips through the Asai DDT, but Eagles waistlocks! Daisuke switches, then full nelsons for a SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!! Daisuke aims, and he SUPER- NO! Eagles survives and the fans fire up! Daisuke goes to a corner, he throws off his shirt, and he climbs up top! The fans rally as Eagles GAMANGIRIS! Eagles takes a moment before he climbs up the corner. Eagles drags Daisuke up, but Daisuke REAR HEADBUTTS again and again! Daisuke SHOVES Eagles down to the apron! The fans are worried, but Eagles CHOPS Daisuke! Eagles then goes up, up, and- NO, Daisuke stops Eagles’ attempt at the rana to underhook the arms! But Eagles resists the lift for the Pedigree! The fans are still very nervous as both men are up on a precarious spot! Eagles sits Daisuke down but Daisuke SHOVES him away!

Eagles backflips through, burns up, but Daisuke BOOTS him! Eagles 619s Daisuke’s legs out! Then he basement SUPERKICKS! The fans fire up as Eagles goes up, WARP 4.5 but Daisuke gets his knees up! Then he rolls Eagles around and around, into the CROSSFACE!! Eagles endures, reaches out, fights around, but Daisuke rolls him away!! Daisuke grabs the other arm, but Eagles rolls to a cradle! TWO!! The fans fire up as both men stand, and Eagles trips Daisuke! Eagles steps through, Daisuke trips him for a roll-up, with tights! TWO!! Daisuke argues with the ref but Eagles runs up! The ref is used as a shield! Then Daisuke RANAS into a cover, TWO!!

Eagles has the sunset, ONE, but then Eagles hooks up the legs!! RON MILLER SPECIAL!!! Daisuke fights, claws at the mat, but Eagles drags him back! Eagles KNEES the leg again and again, then RON MILLER SPECIAL!!!! DAISUKE TAPS, EAGLES WINS!!

The Timesplitter may be at the back of the block, but as long as there are still rounds to go, there’s still time to catch up! But can Kushida hit that 88 miles per hour? Or will the Rogue Luchador still be in the lead?

Kushida continues to go barefoot in the tournament, though it hasn’t exactly done much for him… The bell rings and Kushida already sits down to put up a leg guard. Despy tries to get past it but Kushida stands, rolls, and goes for a leg. Despy avoids the takedown, floats around to waistlock, but Kushida goes to ropes. Despy backs off quickly and the fans applaud this opening exchange. The two reset, go again, and Kushida avoids a takedown. Kushida waistlocks, wrangles Despy, and he has a leg. Despy moves around so Kushida floats to a facelock. Despy pushes his way to a lateral press but Kushida’s up fast.

Despy wrenches, wristlocks, but Kushida slips through to wrench in return. Despy rolls, slips through, and hammerlocks. Despy spins Kushida, wrangles him, then drops down on the arm. Kushida rolls, slips through to headlock and hammerlock, then he spins Despy around to wrangle with a top wristlock. Despy keeps his shoulders up but Kushida wants the Kimura, only for Despy to have the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer and Kushida backs away. Despy applauds the clean break, and the two reset. They knuckle lock but then Despy pokes Kushida in the eye! Red Shoes reprimands, but Despy headlocks, only for Kushdia to slip out and headlock right back.

Despy powers up but can’t power out as Kushida holds tight! Kushida grinds Despy down to the mat, then adds more pressure. Despy fights up, fires body shots, then trips Kushida to ELBOW DROP a leg But Kushida just catches Despy into a headlock! Despy fights up but Kushida puts on the pressure. Despy still powers up and out this time, to then headlock back. Kushida slips out to headlock, but Despy drop toeholds. Despy goes for the headlock but Kushida slips right out to headlock again. The fans cheer while Despy fights back up. Despy CLAWS Kushida’s eyes, then runs the ropes, but Kushida still catches him to a headlock!

But Despy grabs Kushida’s leg for a SHIN BREAKER! Kushida hobbles, Despy mule kicks Kushida out of the ring! The fans applaud while Kushida clutches his leg. Despy goes out to fetch Kushida, and he SMASHES the knee on the floor! The fans rally as Despy follows Kushida, then he has fans clear out. Despy drags Kushida up, but Kushida fires body shots. Kushida goes for the arm but Despy CLAWS the eyes! Despy then BOWLS Kushida into the chairs! STRIKE! The fans have to move back a little more as Despy walks over to Kushida. But then Despy puts a chair on top of Kushida’s leg and picks up another! CON-CHAIR-TO on the leg!

Red Shoes reprimands but Despy leaves Kushida behind. The fans rally up while Kushida clutches his leg. Despy waits in the ring while the count starts. Kushida hobbles his way over, rolls into the ring at 4 of 20, then he rolls right back out to the apron. But Despy CLAWS Kushida’s face through the ropes! Red Shoes reprimands, Despy stops, but Kushida kicks at Despy with the good leg. Despy grabs the bad leg, then puts it on the ropes to stand on! Red Shoes counts, Despy stops, and Despy stalks Kushida to the corner. Despy whips but Kushida can’t run on just one foot! Despy taunts Kushida, then drags him back to center.

Despy drops a leg on the bad leg, then he ties up the legs in an INDIAN DEATHLOCK! Despy mockingly cheers Kushida on, but Kushida CHOPS Despy! Despy isn’t bothered, and he just puts on the pressure. But Kushida grabs Despy’s fingers to bend them! Red Shoes reprimands, but then Despy CLAWS Kushida’s face again! Red Shoes reprimands Despy now, but Despy stops to put pressure on the hold. Kushida endures, reaches out, and falls into the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Despy lets go, and “Oops!” KNEE DROP on the leg! Despy “apologizes,” then he waits on Kushida to stand back up.

Despy brings Kushida around, reels him in, and SHIN- NO, Kushida sunset flips, but Despy rolls through! But Kushida catches him into an ARMBAR! Despy fights around and he scrapes his shoe off Kushida’s face! Kushida gets mad and he KICKS the leg! Despy staggers around, Kushida whips, but Despy reverses. Kushida handsprings to BACK ELBOW! Then he HIP TOSSES and cartwheels to DROPKICK! The fans fire up for Kushida and he stomps away on Despy in the corner. Kushida digs his foot into Despy’s mouth! Red Shoes reprimands, but Despy grabs the toes and SNAPS them! Kushida hobbles away while Despy spits out the taste.

Despy grabs for Kushida but Kushida grabs the hand! And he SNAPS the fingers! Then Kushida runs to SHOTEI in the corner! Kushida puts Despy up top to then climb up and SUPER STEINER! Cover, TWO! But into the ARMBAR! Despy kicks and flails and fights around to high stack Kushida! TWO, and Kushida has the ARMBAR! Despy fights around again, reaches out, and kicks his way over, only for Kushida to drag him back! But Despy uses that to roll through and STRETCH MUFFLER! The fans rally as Kushida endures, and Despy THRASHES the leg! Kushida grabs at Despy’s hand, and he bends the fingers into the KIMURA!

Despy and Kushida duel, Muffler against Kimura, and neither man lets go! Despy power sup but Kushida rolls through, KIMURA!! Despy scrambles around to the ROPEBREAK!! The fans cheer, but Kushida is peeling away the hand tape! Red Shoes reprimands, Kushida stops, but then he PENALTY KICKS the arm! Kushida keeps moving, tilt-o-whirl and HOVER- NO, Despy fights off the full body scissors to DRILLER!! The fans rally up as both men are down from the sit-out piledriver. Despy crawls his way over to Kushida, stands him up, but Kushida CHOPS, and CHOPS, and CHOPS! Despy ROCKS Kushida with a forearm!

Kushida roars, then KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! Despy blocks, says look over there, then LOCO MONO! And then the underhooks, PINCHE LOCO!! Cover, TWO?!? Kushida survive and shocks everyone, Despy included! Despy grows frustrated but he hurries up the corner. FROG SPLASH into the body scissors! KIMURA!! Kushida even kicks at Despy’s legs to keep him down! Despy clasps hands behind his back, fights up, and he snarls as he stands up. Kushida puts on the pressure but Despy wrenches out! Kushida ducks a shot to ROLLING ELBOW! Despy ROCKS Kushida, Kushida FAST BALLS! Then PENALTY KICKS the leg!

Kushida goes to run, but Despy stomps the TOES! The fans are torn, but then Kushida cradles Despy, and deadlifts BACK TO THE FUTURE!! But Kushida can’t make the cover from the pain in his toes! Kushida just fires back up as the fans rally even harder! SHOTEI!! And then another- NO, Despy wrenches free, spins Kushida, and JAY DRILLER!! And then PINCHE LOCO!! Cover, DESPY WINS!

Best of the Super Juniors 33 B Block: SHO VS Taiji Ishimori!

The Murder Machine is a step behind The Rogue Luchador, but stands in the way of the Bone Soldier. Can Sho lie, cheat, and steal another win in the block? Or will Taiji survive the main event #ByGrace?

Sho behaves himself, until he gets a chance to wrestle the mic away from Abe-san. The fans boo but naturally Sho insults the “country bumpkins” of Toyama, who don’t even know good ramen when they taste it. Chris Charlton isn’t on commentary so the rest is lost in translation, but clearly Sho makes it seem like Taiji stands no chance against him as he beats him up! But then Taiji blocks the cheap shot and fires forearms! The bell rings, Taiji TOSSES Sho out, and Taiji hurries to POST Sho! Taiji then has fans clear out before he SMACKS Sho off the timekeeper’s table, and he BOWLS Sho into the chairs! STRIKE!

The fans fire up for Taiji and he drags Sho up from the mess. Taiji brings Sho back, then he POSTS Sho again! Sho falls over but Taiji leaves him behind to look through Sho’s things. Taiji takes the Torture Tool for his own, and hides it under the ring. The ring count climbs, and Taiji quickly unties the red buckle pad. The Unbound Special is in play while Sho rolls into the ring at 8 of 20. The fans applaud as Taiji storms over to Sho, brings him up, and cravats for a neck wrench. Taiji RAMS shoulders in again and again, then again and again! Taiji snapmares to then NECK TWIST! Cover, TWO! Taiji clamps onto Sho with a chinlock, digging his knee into Sho’s back!

Sho endures, but Taiji pushes him down for a FIST DROP! The fans rally as Sho crawls to ropes. Taiji bends Sho against the ropes and Sho protests in a panic. Taiji lets go at 4, then he drags Sho up to turn and NECKBREAKER! Sho clutches his neck, but Taiji brings him up. Taiji whips Sho into the bare buckles! Red Shoes just now realizes there was no pad, and Taiji plays innocent. Sho protests but the fans want that one more time! Taiji obliges as he brings Sho up, but Sho grabs Red Shoes! Red Shoes gets free, but then Sho whips Taiji at him! But then Sho sends Taiji into the bare buckles! Taiji writhes but Sho kicks him out!

Sho goes out and tells Taiji this is what he gets for the shenanigans! Fans move aside as Sho whips Taiji in, and Sho BOWLS Taiji into the chair! STRIKE! Sho grins, then he goes looking under the ring. Sho brings out a chair, but he also sneaks the bell hammer! Sho goes over to Taiji but Red Shoes takes the chair away. Sho HAMMERS Taiji! And HAMMERS him again! Sho hides the evidence just long enough for Red Shoes to look away, and he HAMMERS Taiji agian! Sho DIGS the hammer in to Taiji’s ribs, but now Red Shoes sees! Red Shoes reprimands, Sho stops, but then Sho drags Taiji onto the table to pull him into the edge!

Sho stops as Red hoes counts, but Sho gets on the mic to talk trash on Taiji again. Sho smothers Taiji, he insults the fans, then he leaves Taiji behind for the ring count to start. Taiji slowly rises up at 8 of 20, then hobbles his way over. Taiji manages to roll into the ring at 14 and the fans cheer. But Sho stomps Taiji at the ropes, then digs his heel in! Red Shoes reprimands, Sho stops, and Sho whips Taiji to kitchen sink KNEE! Taiji flounders, but Sho drags him up to put through the corner. Sho stands on Taiji to press him against the bare buckles! Red Shoes reprimands, Sho stops, and Sho whips Taiji to an open corner.

Sho runs in, RAMS Taiji, then gut wrenches for the Canadian Rack and GUT BUSTER! Taiji flounders but Sho covers, TWO! The fans cheer as Taiji toughs it out, but Sho pulls on an arm and leg! Taiij endures the rowboat stretch, reaches out with his free hand, but Sho puts on more pressure! Taiji fights, fights, and makes the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer but Sho still holds on. Red Shoes counts, Sho lets go, and Sho talks more trash. Sho kicks Taiji, then he taunts the fans as they cheer Taiji on. Sho kicks Taiji around, but Taiji CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! But then Sho kicks low!

Sho whips, Taiji reverses and CLAWS Sho’s eyes! Taiji whips but Sho reverses, only for Taiji to handspring, RED DOT GAMANGIRI! The fans fire up while both men are down! Sho and Taiji go to corners, Taiji runs in, and he DOUBLE KNEES! Taiji fireman’s carries for the ROLLING DEATH VALLEY, then basement SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO! Sho toughs it out but Taiji gut wrenches him now. But Sho slips free, and he shoves Taiji! Taiji avoids the bare buckles, but not the JUMP KNEE! Sho is mad now and he drags Taiji up. Sho wraps Taiji up, STRAITJACKET PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Taiji survives and the fans cheer!

Sho is furious but he aims his bow to say it’s over. Sho drags Taiji up, reels him in, and tucks the arms, SHOCK- NO, Taiji slips free, and he BLOODY- NO, Sho wrenches free to KNEE Taiji low! Then Sho brings Taiji to his knees for a KICK, KICK, and- NO, Taiji blocks to then fire fast hands! Taiji runs, but Sho uses Red Shoes as a shield! And he SPEARS Taiji down! The fans do applaud that impressive spear, and then they rally up as both men are down. Sho looks to his corner, he crawls over, and he goes looking, but there’s no Torture Tool! Taiji planning ahead pays off! Taiji shows off the wrench but Red Shoes stops him.

Taiji says okay, but then Sho hurries to go fetch the wrench! Taiji goes up, up, TRIANGLE MOONSAULT! Down goes Sho and the fans fire up! Taiji puts Sho back in, covers, TWO! The fans rally as Taiji keeps on Sho with a wrench and whip into the POST! The fans cheer again, but Red Shoes reprimands. Taiji hammerlocks Sho, scoops him, and SHOULDER BUSTERS! Sho writhes but the fans cheer as Taiji aims from the corner. Sho rises up slowly and Taiji runs in, LA MYSTICA!! BONE LOCK!! Sho endures, flails, fights with the good arm, but Taiji rolls him away! BONE LOCK!! But wait, KANEMARU rings the bell!

The fans boo as the Heel Master gets involved! Sho then SHOVES Taiji into Red Shoes! Red Shoes falls, Kanemaru attacks Taiji! The fans boo even more, but Sho & Kanemaru double whip Taiji into the bare buckles! Taiji falls and writhes on the mat! Kanemaru drags Taiji up while Sho gets the Black Mirror! Sho winds up, but here comes Robbie X & Daiki Nagai! The fans cheer as the Unbound Young Lion DROPKICKS Kanemaru out! Robbie and Sho fight over the mirror, Sho kicks low, but Robbie dodges! Taiji BOOTS the mirror into Sho’s face! Robbie PLANCHAS Kanemaru down! The fans fire up as now Taiji says BANG! Taiji drags Sho up, BLOODY CROSS!! Cover, Taiji wins!!

The Unbound Company helps Taiji against The House, and The Murder Machine is falling down the ranks! But with a couple rounds left, will Sho shuffle the deck and find a way to stack it again?

As for Taiji, he quickly grabs the mic to tell Sho, “You always talk about people being hicks, but this hick just beat you up! There’s not many of them but some people support you. Maybe it’d be good to send them home happy once in a while?” The fans applaud, and Taiji says well, Sho is leaving, so whatever. But to all the fans here, was today fun? The fans applaud that! But Taiji notes we’re in the homestretch of BOSJ. HE said before that it isn’t the most handsome or most popular that wins, but the toughest and the strongest!

Though, things are still tough point-wise. But he got what he needed to get by today from Heaven! You know what that means, right? It is God’s grace! My Thoughts:

Another great night for BOSJ, with just a few surprises. Yoh getting the better of Kanemaru was a lot of fun, and Robbie is keeping his promise to keep on winning. Kushida being completely out of this is probably the surprise, but I think I’ve already said how that just shows the power of the Junior Heavyweight Division, even outside of NJPW, to where he’s no longer the best. He’ll still have good matches in his run, but at best, he’ll be a spoiler now. Despy and Taiji staying at the front of the block is good stuff, they’ll definitely be top choices for the semifinals, but anything can happen.
