The teams sort out, Brain starts against Angelico, and the Code of Honor is upheld. The bell rings, the fans rally, and the two circle. They tie up, Angelico wrenches and wristlocks, but Jordan uses the ropes to get up and step over. Jordan wrenches to a wristlock but Angelico spins and slips through. Angelico has the cording hold, then an over-the-shoulder stretch. Angelico wrenches again to wristlock, and he tags Serpentico. SAP double whips, double drop down, and HIP TOSS to the ZANMAI! The fans cheer, and Serpentico SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! Serpentico drags Jordan up to wrench but Jordan CHOPS free! The fans “WOO~” for that one.

Jordan wrenches Serpentico, tags Alec, and Alec CLUBS the arm. Alec keeps Serpentico from Angelico with a wrench and ELBOW BREAKER! Serpentico wrenches in return, but Alec runs around and round, then uses the ropes to flip through! Then slingshot arm-drag! The fans fire up as Buster gets moving, builds speed, and CLOBBERS Serpentico! The fans fire up while Alec drags Serpentico over. Tag to Jordan, they double whip to DOUBLE CHOP! Then they high-ten and DOUBLE LEG DROP! The fans cheer while Jordan says he’s too smart. Angelico runs up, but he runs into KICK, KICK, and HIP TOSS BLOCKBUSTER!

The fans cheer while Jordan stands Serpentico up. Tag to Alec and he climbs. Jordan back suplexes, but Serpentico lands out. Serpentico SHOVES Jordan at the corner, but Jordan stops short! Only for Serpentico to SHOTGUN him into Alec! Alec falls to apron then floor while the fans fire up again! Jordan goes outside, but Angelico BOOTS him down! Serpentico goes up while Angelico BOOTS Alec! Angelico puts Alec in for Serpentico’s FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Alec survives and the fans rally up. Serpentico bumps Alec off buckles, tags Angelico, then snapmares Alec for Angelico to KICK! Cover, ONE! Tag to Serpentico and he climbs up.

Angelico wrenches Alec for Serpentico to DOUBLE STOMP the arm! Jordan coaches Alec but Serpentico keeps him back. Serpentico has the mounted armlock but the fans rally as Alec fights forward. Serpentico brings Alec up but Alec fires hands. Serpentico CLUBS Alec down, tags Angelico, and SAP double whips. Angelico sends Serpentico in, but Alec goes up and over then handsprings past Angelico, hot tag to Jordan! The fans fire up as The Brain dodges Serpentico to LARIAT Angelico! DOUBLE CHOP for Serpentico, HIP TOSS for Angelico! Then a shoot around, and Jordan RAMS Serpentico into Angelico!

Jordan O’Conner Rolls Serpentico, the ref says Serpentico’s not the legal man, and Jordan shouts back, “I know!” Angelico runs up, Jordan ducks the lariat, GERMAN SUPLEX O’CONNER COMBO! Double bridge cover, TWO!! SAP escapes but the fans fire up for Jordan! Jordan drags Angelico up, he tags Alec, and Alec climbs up. Jordan lifts but Angelico fights fere! They avoid Alec’s leap, then Angelico BOOTS Alec! Angelico switches with Jordan, Jordan jumps the sweep but the EDDY GORDO KICK hits! Angelico ducks a shot to FLATLINER! Tag to Serpentico goes up, FROG- NO, Serpentico has to roll through as Alec dodges!

Alec runs up, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then he FLIES out onto Angelico! The fans fire up as Alec then RAMS into Serpentico, slingshots up and over, then whips. Serpetninco reverses, Jordan tags in, redirect for a BODY SHOT, KNEE SMASH, and basement DROPKICK! Alec keeps going, TRIANGLE JUMP DROPKICK on Angelico! The fans fire up again as Jordan hauls Serpentico up. Alec climbs, Jordan lifts, WORLD DOMINATION! Cover, Buster & The Brain win!

Another great win for this young team, but then THE LETHAL TWIST ATTACKS!? The fans boo as they beat up Alec & Jordan 3v2! Then they TOSS Jordan and set Alec up! Blake Christian puts on the mask he stole from Bandido, takes aim, and he deals the BLACKJACK 21 PLEX!! The fans boo Vanilla Baby but he gets the mic to say, “That is a message to the ROH World Champion, who is once again not here!” The fans boo but Blake says y’know who is here? He is always here, because he is Blake Christian! He carries the weight that Bandido cannot seem to shoulder. The only thing that’s missing is validation.

Validation in the form of being ROH World Champion. But that is all about to change! When you call yourself The Most Wanted, eventually the walls close in. On May 15th, Blake collapses those walls and becomes the NEW ROH World Champion! Vanilla Baby is about to bring all heat to Salisbury, but will he finally be golden? Or will he be the one to melt under those bright lights at Supercard of Honor?

Diamante speaks.

“Deonna, I’ll admit it. Week after week, we’ve been trying to get at you, but you’ve been on your game, mama. Unfortunately for you, this ain’t a game anymore. What this is right here, this is a hunt. And the pack that I run with, to prove ourselves, we collect heads and bring them back home. Come Supercard of Honor, that’s exactly what Athena’s gonna do. “Speaking of Pure Rules, like, you just wanna be Pure Rules Champion just so you can brag on some Lou Thesz BS about how many holds you can do? Psh. Deonna, I know that I don’t talk like you, I don’t walk like you, but what I am is raw, unfiltered, from head to toe. I am the purest woman you will ever be in that ring with. And come Supercard, there is not a hold, not a escape, not a damn ropebreak that’s gonna keep me from bringing your head and that Pure Rules title back to my pack.” The Cuban Diamond has spoken, but will beating The Virtuosa be easier said than done?

ROH Women’s Pure Championship Proving Ground: Deonna Purrazzo VS Haven Harris!

Speaking of, the Virtuosa is preparing for that title match, but she’s also testing the waters. Will Deonna put together another masterpiece in under ten minutes? Or will there be no safe haven this close to Supercard?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and we’re on the clock. The fans rally as the two circle, and they tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Haven’s height helps her push Deonna back. Deonna arm-drags Haven away, but Haven rushes right back up. Deonna slips around to waistlock, but Haven reaches back to headlock. Haven hits the takeover, then flexes. Deonna rolls Haven to a cover, ONE! Haven holds on, Deonna rolls Haven away, then Deonna wrenches to wristlock, then knuckle lock. Deonna has the double knuckle locks but Haven powers up. Deonna knees low, wrenches and wrangles Haven, then rolls to reel her into an armlock.

The fans cheer the technical exchange, but Haven endures. Haven fights up, pulls hair, and she puts Deonna in a corner. Haven RAMS Deonna again and again, but stops as the ref counts. Haven talks trash, whips corner to corner, but Deonna goes up, around, and rolls Haven, FUJWIARA ARMBAR! Haven scrambles to the ROPEBREAK! Deonna holds for a few seconds but she lets go. That is Haven’s first of three, but she HEADBUTTS Deonna! Deonna falls back to a corner, Haven runs up, but Deonna dodges. Deonna runs in, Haven slips through the ropes to PENDULUM KICK! Then SPINEBUSTER! High stack, TWO!

Deonna survives but Haven says here’s something cool! Haven runs, goes up, springboard, but Deonna dodges the senton! And she BOOTS Haven down! Deonna drags Haven up, reels her in, POWERBOMB! And then FUJIWARA!! Haven flails, but she TAPS! Deonna wins!

Before the #SupercardShowdown special episode this Thursday, and before THE Supercard of Honor on Friday, likeminded men team together to battle common enemies. The Prodigy is going to defend his ROH World TV Championship, Blake Christian is going after THE ROH World Championship, will the youth movement grow stronger with every passing moment? Or can the Master of the Half Crab, the Headbanga, and El Sky Team help make this the Whole Fox’n Show?

The teams sort out and Lethal starts against Fox. The fans rally as the two circle and feel things out, but then Lethal pokes Fox in the eyes! The fans boo but Lethal bumps Fox off buckles. Lethal whips but Fox reverses to STUNNER! Fox then runs up, A-LIST LARIAT in the corner, then Fox skins the cat to DROPKICK Lethal! Fox stands Lethal up, but Lethal KNEES low! Tag to Blake, he reels Fox in, but Fox ANARCHY PLEXES first! Tag to Dorada and he jumps up to CLUB Blake’s arm! Dorada fires forearms, then whips, but Blake reverses. Blake hurdles, drops down, but Dorada flips through! Things keep moving, Blake handsprings!

The fans fire up as both men handspring and superhero land! Dorada offers the handshake, but Blake kicks low! Tag to Lee Johnson, but Dorada wrenches and CHOPS Big Shotty! Then Dorada goes up, up, steadies himself, and ARABIAN PINBALL ARM-DRAGS! The fans fire up for Dorada, hot tag to Oku! Oku waistlocks, Lee switches, repeat! Lee goes to ropes, Oku bucks the O’Conner, then Oku runs up to redirect and RANA! Then DROPKICK! The fans fire up for Oku, and he grabs a leg! “And now, we play!” But Lee BOOTS Oku away! Tag to Nick but Oku arm-drags him first! Nick fights up, Oku wrenches, tag to ELP!

ELP goes up, up, and the fans cheer as he AX HANDLES Nick’s arm! Nick CHOPS in return, but ELP SHOVES Nick to a corner. Mama Wayne protests, but ELP CHOPS! ELP wrenches, knuckle locks, and goes up, up, jumps around, then gives us some Old School! Kip runs up but ELP KICKS him down! Lethal tries but ELP jumps the sweep! The fans cheer as Big Shotty goes up to jump, but ELP drops down! Then FLYING RANA! The fans are all fired up as ELP kips up, but Blake FLYING KNEES ELP down! The fans boo but Blake drags ELP over. Nick tags Lethal, and they stomp away on ELP together! The fans boo but Lethal bumps ELP off buckles.

Tag to Blake, he stomps a mudhole into ELP! The fans boo, the ref counts, but Blake stops at 4. Blake drags ELP around, tags Kip, and Kip CLUBS ELP down. Kip drags ELP up, tags Nick, and the Superbad Boys DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX! But ELP lands out! ELP BLASTS The Twist, goes up and over Kip, then fakes Nick out! Nick still gets a leg, but ELP ENZIGIRIS free! ELP dodges Kip, hot tag to Mistico! The fans erupt as the Talisman springboards into action, DOUBLE CROSSBODY on Nick & Kip! Mistico then dodges, handsprings, DOUBLE BACK ELBOW! Mistico keeps going, he dodges The Swirl, HANDSPRING DOUBLE ARM-DRAGS!

Nick is back but Mistico knuckle locks, CHOPS, and goes up, up, and away for the FLYING ARM-DRAG! Nick tumbles, the fans cheer, and Mistico runs up. Nick pops Mistico up but Mistico lands safe to then GAMANGIRI! Nick falls, Mistico climbs up, SWANTON BOMB! Cover, Lethal runs up, but Mistico moves! The ELBOW DROP hits Nick! Tag to Oku, he TORNADO DDTS Lethal! Lethal bails out, Kip MISSILE DROPKICKS! ELP kicks Kip, Kip blocks, but hey look! Oldest trick in the book for the ENZIGIRI! Lee SUPERKICKS ELP! Dorada DREAMCAST KICKS Lee! SPANISH FLY from Blake! Mistico runs up, tilt-o-whirl DDT!

Nick is back, ASAI DDT! The fans fire up as Fox leaps in! Nick stops a cutter to CUT- NO! Fox handstands out of it! The fans fire up as Nick gets mad! These old enemies fire forearms, Lethal and Mistico DROPKICK them both out! And they both build speed! They both DIVE to take out Fox and Nick! Kip and ELP shove, shove, and then take aim! DOUBLE PLANCHAS on Lethal and Mistico! Lee and Dorada run to FLY! Down go ELP and Kip! The fans are thunderous as so many bodies are down and out! But Fox says bet! IMPLODER SENTON!! The fans are thunderous again, but now Oku and Nick meet in the ring!

Oku blocks a kick to SUPERKICK! Nick SUPERKICKS back! Both men run, Oku JUMP KNEES Nick! Nick tumbles out to go to Mama, but the fans fire up as Oku builds speed! Oku has to stop short as Mama Wayne stands in the way. But Blake DOUBLE STOMPS Oku! Amira and Shayna argue, but Blake deals another BLACKJACK 21 PLEX!! And Nick tops it off with the pump handle, and FISHERMAN BUSTER!! Cover, the Prodigy’s team wins!

It was a fast ‘n’ furious finish, but Nick isn’t the Prodigy for nothing. Will ROH still be Wayne’s World even after this week? Or can Fox still become World Television Champion?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for ROH, but I might be saying that because it was a more favorable runtime. Though, you always know it’s some kind of PPV week when ROH does a bonus episode on YouTube. Great promo from Buster & The Brain before a great tag match with SAP, but I don’t know why it had to be The Lethal Twist sending a message to Bandido through them instead of LFI showing up to send a message to Buster & The Brain. I will say, Blake making a point of Bandido being absent is a good Heel take on things, in that it doesn’t really account for any justifiable/understandable circumstances.

That with the great 10 Man Tag main event, the momentum is on Blake’s side since he won alongside Nick Wayne, but it makes me wonder about the go-home math. Outside of massive cheating from The Lethal Twist, I don’t see Blake winning at Supercard. As for Nick and his match for the “Supercard Showdown,” it’d be fitting if AR Fox won that TV title so that he could actually defend it while Nick is in Japan for Best of the Super Juniors for the next three weeks. For that matter, the episode Nick defends the title on airs the day he should already be in Japan for the first round of the tournament. But that aside, Fox should also win because Nick got plenty of days on his reign resting with the title instead of there being an interim champion, which is still on Tony Khan.

Very good stuff with the other matches, with Archer destroying Jordy and Singh destroying two men like nothing. I wonder if Archer and Singh will ever have a match against each other… Vertigo got a great showing against Uno, but that made Uno’s win all the better. Very good promo from Diamante, and good but also very quick match from Deonna tonight. Diamante made an interesting point that maybe Athena will have to handle Billie Starkz in Survival of the Fittest. I personally have been hoping so, the Ballad of Billie and Athena has been going on for literally three years, that’s long enough. Billie betrays Athena, we get a NEW ROH Women’s World Champion one way or another, and then it’ll be about the MIT fallout for the summer.
