Deonna Purrazzo speaks.
“Diamante, I hope you’re watching. And y’know what? No, I know you’re watching, because it seems like all you can do is copy me! It’s really cute, you using the Fujiwara Armbar, thinking you’re a Pure Rules wrestler. Because here’s the thing: long before there was a Women’s Pure Championship, I was traveling the world, becoming a multi-time world champion being a Pure Rules wrestler. So at Supercard of Honor, I want you to try, I dare you to put me in the Fujiwara Armbar and see what happens. Because it’s one thing to mimic me, but it’s another thing completely to be THE Virtuosa.” A challenge on top of the title match, will Deonna break the Cuban Diamond under that pressure?
BREAKING NEWS for Supercard of Honor!
With Persephone getting misted so bad by Julia Hart in her loss to the Triangle of Madness, she can no longer compete in Survival of the Fittest! But her misfortune is another woman’s gain as there is now going to be a Second Chance Qualifier held next week!
Zayda Steel speaks.
“Well, I’ve never had to wait for anything, because I’ve been ready for anything. Except Athena. Losing to you in our Proving Grounds match, that took a lot out of me. Not physically, mentally. Because I knew I could beat you. Now, I don’t need to wait. I don’t need good luck. Because I have a second chance. And guess what, Hyan? You have that same chance, too. And I know you wanna leave with that championship. But unfortunately, there’s nothing stopping me from opening up my door, taking a few steps in my backyard, Maryland, Supercard of Honor. So I guess we’re fighting for the same spot, Hyan. I like you, I respect you, but between those ropes… I’m the Real Deal.
“So if you wanna make it to Survival of the Fittest, you’re gonna have to survive me.”
Hyan & Maya World respond.
#ThatGirl tells her girl that this is her time! This is her moment! They’ve been up and down, winning and losing, but Hyan cannot be denied. She’ll beat Zayda and then enter Survival of the Fittest. Hyan asks, “And then what?” Maya says, “And then… Athena!” They’re coming for receipts and they’re taking double. Hyan says this isn’t just about Athena, although she’d love to kick her ass… This is about surviving four other women, and then it’ll come down to them. Is Maya ready for that? Is Hyan ready for that? Well, Athena isn’t ready, Billie isn’t ready, Trish Adora and Yuka Sakazaki, they’re not ready. But Hyan is ready. Maya is, too!
Maya tells Hyan to go out there and take what’s hers, so that they can take what is theirs! #ClockThat! The Renaissance Woman VS The Real Deal, who takes control of their own future on the road to Supercard of Honor?
Backstage interview with Action Andretti.
Lexy Nair finds the Sight to See as he packs his bags while on the phone. She asks for a moment to talk but he says sorry, one second. Action is apparently calling Lio Rush, trying to get him to call back. They need to talk, so Lio needs to call back, alright? Action finishes his call, and Lexy brings up there’s a change in Lio’s demeanor. Lio even showed up during Action’s match, but what is going on? Action stops Lexy there and says respectfully, he understands she has her job to do, she has questions to ask. But unfortunately he doesn’t have answers. Action heads out, is CRU all but dead and gone?
BREAKING NEWS for next week!
Not only does “Supercard Showdown” have the Second Chance Qualifier of Zayda VS Hyan, but AR Fox has the opportunity to take the ROH World TV Championship from Nick Wayne! Will ROH truly become the Whole Fox’n Show? Or will The Prodigy simply use this as a springboard into NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament?
Time to Chop It Up with Caprice Coleman.
Tonight, Caprice sits down with The Lethal Twist: Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson. Caprice says he and Lethal go way back, so he has a question that everyone wants to know. Why is Lethal now associating with The Swirl? Lethal says there’s a short version and a long version. Like Caprice said, they go way back, and Lethal can honestly say he doesn’t enjoy Caprice’s company, so here’s the short version: The Swirl asked him to join them. The way they asked was a bit unconventional, maybe even disrespectful, but they were trying to light a fire inside Lethal. They were trying to remind Lethal of a time when he stood on top of ROH.
And the funny thing is, right now, this maybe a “new ROH,” but history is definitely about to repeat itself. Yes, Caprice sees that, and he likes The Swirl, really. He thinks highly of both of them, because he sees the future of wrestling here. Lethal says he’s starting to like Caprice a little more. Caprice says speaking of history, Lethal was mentoring Adam Priest & Tommy Billington, what happened with that? Lethal says he doesn’t like those guys. He found out the real story: They needed him more than he needed them. Well, okay, but before Priest & Billington, it was Sonjay Dutt, Jeff Jarrett & Satnam Singh.
Oh, Caprice did his homework! Quite the historian. What’s Caprice getting at? Lethal can’t have more than a couple friends? Caprice says no, they’re chopping it up. Lethal is now with The Swirl to help him become The Franchise again. No, no, they’re helping each other. One person’s goal is all their goal. In fact, if Bandido is watching, he better count his days and keep that title warm, because Blake here is gonna be the NEW World Champion! Oh, so if Blake becomes world champion, Lethal gets the first shot? Lethal hesitates, and says we’re not doing this anymore. Lethal takes off his mic, and he leads the way out.
Caprice says he was just asking. Them storming off is rude. But does Caprice have a point? Is Lethal only helping Vanilla Baby to then help himself? Or will Lethal honestly be content with simply coaching the next champion rather than being the next champion?
ROH Women’s World Television Championship Proving Grounds: Red Velvet VS Rachael Ellering!
The Chef was gonna Chop It Up with Caprice but he got a little hot under the collar. Will Velvet still Stir It Up in the ring and serve up an L? Or will the Queen of Strong Smile be tasting sweet, sweet victory?

The Chef indeed serves up another fresh L, and Rachael will have to rethink her game plan. But BREAKING NEWS for Supercard! Someone has earned their opportunity the hard way, and that’s by simply stacking wins in their own right. Viva Van is headed to Maryland to challenge Red Velvet, will she be hellbent on taking that title? Or will Velvet simply cook Viva like a Salisbury steak?

While they’ve been lighting it up in AEW across Dynamite and Collision, Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed are ready to smoke the competition in ROH! But will this now become The Rascalz of Honor Show? Or will Mansoor, Mason Madden & Johnny TV prove they’re not #TVReady?

Winners: The Rascalz, by pinfall
Sound the alarm, because The Rascalz win their first trios match in ROH! Will they ride this high until they reach the top?
My Thoughts:
A great ROH, but ROH still needs a more consistent runtime. This was an hour and 45, which puts it on the longer end. Pretty sure I’ve said this before but if they can keep it to 90 minutes, that’d be better. Anyway, quite the interesting development for Survival of the Fittest with Persephone out. Not sure if the mist injury is to cover for a real injury, but we’ll get a very good match from Hyan VS Zayda. Either one is a great choice to put in the Survival of the Fittest, but it feels like Hyan will join the match to back Maya up against Athena & Billie. It’d be such great story if Athena & Billie thwart Hyan & Maya, only for Billie to betray Athena and eliminate her.
Interesting move having Lio Rush show up during Action’s match, because it gave us a look at Lio being normal again. I don’t just mean this in kayfabe, I mean this for real, it is a shame that CRU falls apart right as they were trying a new thing with Lacey Lane on the team, but surely we’re getting a match of Action VS Lio, which will be good story. Very good Chop It Up with Lethal Twist, though I’m a little surprised it took this long to discuss the intentions, like why Lethal isn’t the one going after Bandido. And while Blake Christian is a really talented young wrestler, I still don’t see him taking the ROH title from Bandido. Well, at least not without the whole Twist cheating hard to help.
Very good showing for Rachael Ellering against Red Velvet, and while Velvet winning out was fine, I’m a little surprised they just up and named a challenger. Viva Van has been on a roll of her own, but I don’t see Velvet losing. Very good tag match of Eddie & Ortiz VS Infantry, and clearly they’re setting up a Six Man title match. But with Eddie, Ortiz and Mance Warner being put together like this, STP surely wins out. What we need is more ROH Tag Team Championship story with LFI, they’re adding days to the reign just by sitting in the back. Considering Supercard is next week, they might leave those tag titles off the card and worry about some other event.
Very good Six Man Tag main event, though it’s a shame they didn’t give us Rascalz VS Frat House when Frat House was on the card tonight losing to Buster & The Brain. But MXM TV is still an entertaining trio, so they made for a good match-up with The Rascalz. Now The Rascalz could be a trio that can take the titles off STP, as they might just be spinning their wheels on AEW in that traffic jam of a tag/trios division.
My Score: 8.7/10
