Naraku Makes In-Ring NXT Debut, Noam Dar Returns Amid Multiple Angles

Former NJPW star Naraku — formerly EVIL — made his long-anticipated NXT in-ring debut on The CW, quickly defeating Lince Dorado in an enhancement-style outing. The show also featured Tatum Paxley teaming with breakout newcomer Lizzy Rain to beat Nikkita Lyons and Zaria after Zaria turned on her partner, and BirthRight (Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors and Stacks) picked up a trios victory over EK Prosper, Sean Legacy and Tate Wilder. Mason Rook signed his NXT contract in a heated segment that ended with a moonsault to the floor and a staredown with NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, while backstage vignettes set Tristan Angels up for an in-ring debut next week.

Noam Dar returned to television for the first time since June 2025 but fell to Jackson Drake following outside interference from Vanity Project, a beat that led to Darkstate confronting the heels and the announcement of Dion Lennox & Saquon Shugars as the next challengers for the tag titles. In the main event Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey amid a ringside brawl involving Izzi Dame and Lola Vice; the episode closed with Dame ambushing Vice and posing with Vice’s title, and GM Robert Stone booking several matches for next week including Myles Borne & Tony D’Angelo vs. Mason Rook & Kam Hendrix and Tate Wilder vs. Keanu Carver.
