Netflix VP Says WWE Partnership “Above Our Expectations” After One Year
Netflix Vice President of Sports Gabe Spitzer reflected on the streaming service’s one-year partnership with WWE, noting the collaboration has been successful so far. In the United States Netflix carries Monday Night Raw, while internationally the platform streams Raw, NXT, SmackDown and Premium Live Events, expanding WWE’s global reach through the service.
Spitzer characterized the relationship as having exceeded expectations and suggested the deal reinforces Netflix’s growing commitment to live sports and event programming. The positive results after a year point to continued cooperation and potential expansion between Netflix and WWE moving forward.
