Nick Offerman Read Bret Hart and Mick Foley Memoirs to Prepare for Wrestling Role
Nick Offerman portrays Jinx, a former pro wrestler, in the new series Margo’s Got Money Troubles. To prepare, Offerman trained in the gym for several months before shooting and read memoirs by Bret Hart and Mick Foley to better understand the craft and culture of professional wrestling.
He said the books helped him grasp both the physical demands and the mindset of performers, informing his portrayal of a character rooted in the sport’s realities. Offerman’s thorough preparation highlights a commitment to authenticity in bringing a wrestler’s world to life on screen.
