NJPW Reveals Cards for Best of the Super Juniors 33
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has unveiled the full cards for Best of the Super Juniors 33, which kicks off on May 14. Notable main events include Kosei Fujita vs. Francesco Akira on the opener, El Desperado vs. Taiji Ishimori on May 16, Robbie Eagles’ featured nights on May 17 and 23, Jun Kasai vs. Nick Wayne on May 24, with semifinals set for Gunma on June 5 and the finals at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo on June 7.
NJPW’s Japanese site also confirmed a pair of absences: Jun Kasai will miss the May 14, 29 and 30 dates, while Hyo will be absent for the May 16 show. The promotion’s complete BOSJ 33 lineup is available on NJPW’s site as the tournament builds toward its June climax.
