NWA, Billy Corgan Apologize After Odinson’s Insensitive Social Media Remarks

The NWA and owner Billy Corgan issued a public apology after homophobic and “insensitive” comments made by wrestler Odinson surfaced on social media. In a statement posted by the promotion, Corgan said the remarks do not reflect the values of the NWA, that the company does not condone hateful or offensive language, and that it remains committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive community; the offending content has since been removed.

Odinson, who is signed to the NWA and currently holds the NWA Tag Team titles alongside JR Kratos as The Immortals, has not yet issued a personal apology or comment. He and Kratos remain advertised for NWA Hard Times 6 on June 6 in Atlanta and the promotion’s 78th anniversary show on July 25 in Philadelphia.
