Persephone vs. Hazuki Set For Next Week’s AEW Collision

AEW has confirmed that Persephone will face Stardom star Hazuki in next week’s Collision in Youngstown, Ohio, after Hazuki defeated Maya World on Saturday. Persephone — the CMLL Women’s Champion — made her first appearance since being ruled “out indefinitely” following an incident with Julia Hart, serving at ringside and on commentary; she and Hazuki shared a tense staredown after the match while Persephone’s eyes still showed signs of the earlier attack.

The women’s Owen Hart Foundation bracket remains unsettled after Willow Nightingale withdrew with an injury, moving Alex Windsor’s scheduled match to Wednesday’s Dynamite where she will face a wild-card opponent. Also announced for Collision: AEW Women’s Tag Champions Megan Bayne & Lena Kross will defend against TayJay, the team that last week became the first to survive five minutes against the dominant champions.
