Report: Ludwig Kaiser Has No Heat Within WWE After Arrest, Sources Expect Possible Release

WWE’s Ludwig Kaiser (Marcel Barthel) was arrested in April in Orlando on a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an altercation with a man who allegedly confronted Kaiser about getting intimate with a woman. Fightful Select reports WWE sources say Kaiser currently has no heat within the company over the incident, though those sources believe he may ultimately be released based on information they have obtained.

Fightful also says a defensive narrative about Kaiser and Andrea Bazarte was pushed to media from an unfamiliar number rather than by Kaiser, Bazarte, or WWE, prompting some in the industry to find the defense unconvincing and suggest Kaiser should have removed himself from the situation. Kaiser — scheduled to face OG El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes — was reportedly cleared by a judge and is expected to face no travel issues.
