Ric Flair Apologizes After Trademark Dispute with Son David Flair
Ric Flair sparked controversy on social media after threatening legal action against his son, David Flair, over use of the “Flair” trademark. He later clarified in a follow-up tweet that he was not actually suing David and only wanted to remind him to use his own name instead.
The Hall of Famer issued an apology for the frustration his posts caused, stressing his intent was to protect the family name and trademark rather than escalate into litigation. Flair’s brief back-and-forth with his son highlights ongoing tensions but ends with a conciliatory message from the Nature Boy.
