Seth Rollins: Celebrity Appearances Best in Small Doses, Praises Bad Bunny and IShowSpeed
Seth Rollins told ESPN’s UnSportsmanlike ahead of Backlash that celebrity crossovers like Bad Bunny and IShowSpeed can be great for WWE when used sparingly, noting they bring new audiences and deserve credit for the work they put into training. Rollins compared celebrity spots to his own media appearances — useful in moderation — and acknowledged the mixed fan reaction to Pat McAfee’s heavy involvement, while pointing out McAfee proved effective in commentary and occasional matches.
Rollins also lavished praise on Bad Bunny, calling him a generational star with global drawing power who commits to the work required to wrestle, and previewed his Backlash grudge match with former protégé Bron Breakker as a teacher-vs.-trainee test to see if Breakker is ready for the next step in his WWE career.
