Seth Rollins explains choosing Bron Breakker for The Vision ahead of WWE Backlash
Seth Rollins told Michael Cole he picked Bron Breakker for The Vision because he distrusted Roman Reigns and CM Punk and wanted to prevent them from becoming the company’s figureheads. Rollins admitted a measure of insecurity as he amassed enemies like Punk and Reigns’ Bloodline, and said he saw Breakker as the perfect talent to carry the next generation and insulate his own position.
The Vision collapsed last October when Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked Rollins, leading to a storyline exit for shoulder surgery; Rollins returned before WrestleMania 42 and recently lost to Gunther after Breakker cost him the match. Their renewed confrontations on Raw have escalated into a singles showdown scheduled for WWE Backlash on May 9.
