Thekla Backs Asuka, Says Somebody Like That “Never Retires”
Speculation swirled around Asuka’s WWE future after what appeared to be an emotional sendoff at Backlash following her loss to IYO SKY, and the moment was further amplified on Raw when the two exchanged farewells and Asuka left the building. With fans wondering if retirement was on the horizon, fellow star Thekla stepped in to address the rumors.
Speaking to TMZ Inside The Ring, Thekla dismissed retirement talk, noting that Asuka is “still whooping ass” and suggesting that a competitor of her caliber isn’t going away quietly. Her remarks framed Asuka’s legacy as ongoing, telling fans not to expect a permanent goodbye anytime soon.
