Thekla Re-Signs with AEW, Credits Tony Khan and “Flower Garden” Locker Room
Thekla confirmed she has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling in an interview with TMZ Sports, saying AEW is “a perfect fit” and that she agreed to extend her stay when “Boss Man” Tony Khan asked her to. She praised Khan’s backstage energy and the quiet, peaceful locker room, adding she feels comfortable enough not to look elsewhere — “like I’m sitting in a flower garden.”
Thekla debuted in AEW on May 28 last year by attacking Jamie Hayter and notched her first win on Collision over Lady Frost. She is scheduled to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship in a four-way against Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander and Hayter at Double or Nothing in Queens on May 24.
